About Datapack / mod

Universal Stone Blocks (USB) is a datapack / mod that modifies and adds a lot of recipes that include stone. Its goal is to make stone blocks more universal and also to make crafting some walls, slabs, and stairs easier. Stone is stone, so this project lets you craft itesm using any stone you like.

Recipes

This datapack / mod modifies and adds a lot of recipes. Some of them let you craft mossy variants of cobblestone and stone brick walls, stairs, and slabs. A lot of recipes have been modified so they can be crafted with all unprocessed stone blocks. Some of them include stone tools, redstone components, brewing stands, and more.

Future datapack / mod support and backporting

This datapack / mod will be updated once every full release of Minecraft as soon as possible. I do not plan on backporting this project unless requested on Discord, but you can only request backporting to 1.20.x. I won't be backporting to older versions.

Compatibility with other mods or plugins

If you know a mod or plugin that adds new types of stones that would fit that datapack, let me know on Discord and I will publish an add-on.
