  • Added the 'Reduced Debug Info' setting
    • This setting controls how much information is shown to players in their debug (F3) screen, aswell as debug features such as being able to view hitboxes and chunk borders
    • This setting is enabled by default
  • Added the 'Name Data Updates' setting
    • This setting controls if the operations done to player data, in regards to player UUID & name, should happen
    • This setting is enabled by default
    • It is advised that this setting should be disabled if players are playing in a server that has online-mode set to false
  • Added 'lay figure' blocks
    • Lay figures look like wooden player figures, standing upon a cobblestone base. There is one lay figure for every acquireable wood type
    • A lay figure block can be crafted with 1 stick, 3 planks of any type, and 3 cobblestone
    • When placed, lay figures occupy a space of 2 blocks, vertically
    • Interacting with a placed lay figure will open a menu that lets you choose what type of armor you want to create
      • The menu also lets the user specify the material of the armor
      • Each material & armor piece defined in the menu has its own menu, which lets the users apply additions, decorations, and other components to their armor, allowing them to customize their sets
        • Many of these components have varying stats, which are shown on the buttons' tooltips
        • Each component added to the armor has its own material cost that is required from the user
  • Added the "Iron Plate" item
    • This item can be acquired by forging it through a placed piece of heated wrought iron
      • Players with higher blacksmithing levels have higher chances of receiving higher quantities of iron plates when forging such item
    • Iron plates are used for creating armor through lay figures
  • Added the "Copper Plate" item
    • This item can be acquired through casting copper with clay molds
      • Players with higher blacksmithing levels have higher chances of receiving higher quantities of copper plates
    • Much like iron plates, copper plates are used for creating armor through lay figures
  • Added a new clay mold type: "Plate"
    • This clay mold type can be created by selecting 6 squares in a vertical shape
    • It accepts molten copper, and can be used to make copper plates
  • Added 2 new items: the "Grass Tuft" and the "Dry Grass Tuft"
    • Grass tufts have a chance to drop from short/tall grass. Dry grass tufts have a chance to drop from short/tall dry grass
    • The grass tuft and dry grass tuft items can be used as fuel for campfires
    • Both these items can now be used to make preparation plates, these are alternative recipes for the same block, replacing the leaf litter requirement in the recipe
      • When using tufts when crafting preperation plates, the model that the plate uses will be different, though, its functionality remains the same
  • Added 2 new splash texts:
    • "Now with less egg saplings!"
    • "No fishermen in my sight!"
  • Rehauled the tribal mask
    • The old singular tribal mask has been removed, and is now replaced with various different tribal masks, whose textures are dependent on the wood type they were crafted with
    • Players who made a tribal mask in a previous version will still be able to see their old tribal mask as it was before
  • Tribal masks now display their luck attribute in their tooltip, they now also display a new attribute pertaining to Overly Realistic: Fear
    • Increased fear means that animals are more likely to run away from smaller hunting groups
  • Added new tips which are shown to players in chat under specific conditions
    • A tip is now shown to the player when they first acquire a tool head of any kind. This tip informs them about the crude tool handle
    • A tip is now shown to the player when they are low on nutrients. This tip reminds them to check the food-related advancements for information on what foods give what nutrients
    • A tip is now shown to the player when their thirst stat is low. This tip informs them about the waterskin, it also tells them they can boil dirty water in baskets to get clean water
  • Added a new setting: "Easier Drop Rates"
    • This setting is disabled by default
    • When enabled, certain drops, such as flint from gravel or bark from log-stripping, will have their drop chances and drop amounts increased
  • Added a pain system
    • When getting damaged by an animal or another player, the player will be in pain, as indicated by their status, which will now show "in pain"
    • When in pain, players will not be able to break any blocks that aren't instantly destructible
    • Pain is a temporary effect, its time depends on what caused the damage done to the player
      • Being damaged directly by animals causes 10s of pain
      • Being damaged directly by players causes 15s of pain
      • Being damaged by arrows shot by players causes 60s of pain
  • Added a new setting: "Player Pain"
    • This setting controls the pain system, disabling it will disallow players from being in pain
    • This setting is enabled by default
  • Added a new setting: "Harsher Pain"
    • When enabled, this setting makes it so when players are in pain, they are disallowed from placing, breaking, or interacting with blocks
    • This setting is disabled by default
  • Predator animals' targetting range is now determined by their genetics
    • Larger predators have larger targetting ranges, smaller ones have smaller ranges
  • Predator animals' targetting ranges have been increased
  • The 'Nerfed Predator Animals' setting now decreases predator animals' targetting range
  • The gravity system has been made slightly more robust
    • If a block is connected adjacently to a non-collapseable block, and that block has air under them, the block will no longer collapse
  • Waterskins can now place and take water from baskets
  • It is now possible to contain clean water in waterskins
  • Ground props such as twigs, rocks, and wild vegetables will now generate more commonly
  • Arrows now stack to 50, instead of 20
  • Various textures have been rehauled, all these textures have been made by Fever, following items' textures have been changed:
    • Iron fragments
    • Gold fragments
    • Copper fragments
    • Heated bloom
    • Pine pitch glue
    • Heated wrought iron
    • Bone flute
    • Waterskin
    • Wood scraps
    • Raw equine
    • Equine steak
    • Raw turtle
    • Cooked turtle
    • Raw feline
    • Cooked feline
    • Natural fibers
    • Bone glue
    • Compost
    • Poor quality raw iron
    • Poor quality raw copper
    • Poor quality raw gold
    • Seed potato
    • Sulfur
    • Bandage
  • Fever is now mentioned as the lead artist of Overly Realistic in the credits menu
  • Players can no longer place tools on preparation plates when interacting with them
  • Forging items through the heated wrought iron now rewards the user with blacksmithing experience
  • Logs now drop 1-3 bark when stripped, instead of 1-2
  • All types of leaves can now drop vines
  • The 'Nerfed Predator Animals' setting now properly operates on currently-loaded entities
  • The initialization UI now shows the player a button to join the official discord server
  • Removed deafness & blindness as acquireable physical traumas
  • Removed unecessary files
  • Removed all crafting table armor recipes
    • This includes reinforced iron armor
  • Optimized basket boiling operations
  • Optimized basket fermentation operations
  • Optimized predator animal spawning operations
  • Fixed potential issue where certain settings would not work properly
  • Fixed the "You Have Died!" texture having an incorrect sizing, an subsequently not being able to be loaded
  • Fixed the flint flake and sharpened flint not being able to be knapped by some users
  • Fixed hides sometimes not turning into doused hides when being stirred in a tannin solution-filled basket
  • Fixed downed players dying when being helped up
  • Fixed oak saplings being named "Egg" and having wrongful data
  • Fixed a debug message being visible at times
  • Fixed a bug where previously-fallen blocks would reappear if the gravity system tried to make a vine block fall
  • Fixed players not being able to wake up from sleeping on the ground once it turns day time

    • The "Tribesman" advancement now requires the player to craft any of the new tribal masks
    • Removed the image from the "Tribesman" advancement
    • Tweaked the description of the "The First Clothes" advancement
    • Changed the icon of the "Tribesman" advancement
    • Tweaked the description of the "Who Needs Bronze?!" advancement
    • Removed the "A Proper Knight" advancement
    • The tooltips of the advancements which are children of the "Molding Reality" advancement will now inform the player of what they can do with the item that the advancement references
    • The tooltips of the advancements which are children of the "Iron Target" advancement will now inform the player of what they can do with the item that the advancement references
