1. Type /claim to receive the Claim Shovel (golden shovel).
2. Right-click two opposite corners to define your region.
3. Type /claim confirm to claim the area, or /claim cancel to abort.
4. Your region is now protected from other players.
5. Use /claim manage while standing in your claim to open the management GUI.
